In October 2024, I had the opportunity to collaborate with my partner, D'Angelo Minnis, on a comprehensive brand identity. NYNE is a therapy practice based in Chicago, steeped in holistic healing and spiritual wellness. It creates meaningful connections with its clients by fostering self-understanding and compassion.

Our mission was to create a brand that cohesively embodied these brand values through a modernist lens and incorporate symbols to represent spiritual keywords. This was a unique personal endeavor for me because it was my first encounter with brand design, and I learned a vast amount through the process. Thanks to the mentorship of D’Angelo and the personability of Taylor (NYNE founder), I was able to test and apply visual elements to a larger system.









INITIAL SKETCHES



After our first meeting, important themes that emerged were cosmic and connected. The initial sketches were aimed at reflecting those values.















SECOND ROUND


After the first round of sketches, we met and reviewed the first batch together. Based on the feedback from that meeting, I came up with 3 final visions. 
The client enjoyed the middle variation the most, so we proceeded to the vectorization phase and honed in on the final mark.
